Urban Yoga’s Beginners programme runs as a course over a five-week term. By signing up to our Beginners course you will learn yoga fundamentals while increasing strength and flexibility.

Come try yoga in this five-week beginners course designed for absolute beginners or for those looking for a solid refresher of the basics.
Over the course duration you’ll build a solid foundation to the practice of yoga, with an introduction to common yoga poses, alignment principles, basic philosophy and yoga etiquette in a fun, relaxed environment.
Class sizes are kept small to ensure a high level of personal attention and that you are safe. No, you don’t have to be able to touch your toes but you do bring your sense of humour!
All mats and props are provided for use but you are also welcome to bring your own. Please wear clothes that are comfortable but not baggy.
